Love This Smile with Jillibean Soup

I sure love her cute smile and this card by Jillibean Soup was my source of inspiration for creating this layout. I've paired it with the Chilled Cucumber Soup collection and lots of layers.

I trimmed the chevron placemat to create 2 arrows, which I've sewn on my layout. I added lots of layers, diecuts and stickers. This was a fun and quick layout to create. 

Cute Pumpkin with HipKit Club

Today I'm sharing 2 projects I created with the fabulous October Hip Kit. Love the mix of orange, navy blue and gold accents, such fun colours to work with at this time of year. 

My first project is a layout, I love all the little bits of embellishments, diecuts and stickers included in this kit. I knew I have to create a big cluster of embellishments on my layout and I think it worked out pretty well!

I just love the shirt my youngest daughter is wearing, I wanted to create an accent pumping, to do so I used my Cameo and simple pumpkin shape, which I layered with pattern paper and stitched around the edges. 

This kit is full of awesome embellishments, I love embellishments and layering them onto my layouts. I wanted to create a focus area with journaling and embellishments. To achieve this look I "dumped" the accents on my layout and just started to play around with them, almost like a puzzle. It was a very fun process. 

I also have a card to share, love pairing the kraft with navy blue, such a beautiful combination. This card is rather easy to create, I used stickers layered with die cuts embellishments. Added stitching a typed greeting with my electronic typewriter.

Grateful Card with Chic Tags

Happy Monday friends, today I'm sharing a card I created for the November Chic Tags challenge, all the details are on the blog ----> November Challenge. 

I love using the label tags and layering them, they are such a fun size and the colors are fabulous. I paired them with the triangle die cut from the Autum Days collection. I used the triangle stamps from the Happy Place collection with Versamark, love the look of Versamark on kraft paper. I hope you will join us and play along!!

Hooray For Fall with Chic Tags

Happy Monday folks!! Hope your weekend was lovely, mine was a blast! Spent the weekend in NYC with Danika, we had such a good time. Danika was amazed at all the sights and sounds that NY has to offer. 

Today I'm sharing a layout I created for Chic Tags for the Sunday Sketch Challenge. You can see the full sketch and reveal here ---> Chic Tags Blog. I hope you will play along because you could win a $10 gift card from the Chic Tags store!!! Woot!! Woot!!!

To create my layout I used the October Chic Tags Exclusive Kit ----->October Kit. Not only is the kit perfect for PL, it's also fantastic for layouts. 

I often keep random Cameo cuts on hand to use as I need them, this saves a lot of time. The leaf stem was cut on white cardstock, which I misted with Gold Mister Huey and added splatters. I think it resulted in a very fallish accent for my layout.

One of my favorite item from the October exclusive kit is the stamp set, especially the #reallife stamp, it is so fun and versatile, I have a feeling it will appear on a lot of projects. 

I know I've shared it before but in case you would like to see it again, here is the Chic Tags exclusive October kit. I know theres a limited amount of these kits, so if you are on the fence I wouldn't wait too long. 

Random Fact with Jillibean Soup

Hello scrappy friends, thanks for stopping by, today I'm sharing a layout I created for Jillibean Soup. I used one of my favorite placemats combined with kraft cardstock and Irish Farm House stew.

I really enjoy working with the negative part of die cuts, for that reason I always have my favorite punches on my desk and within reach. It is an easy way to add an extra element and detail to a layout.

Just like I love using white on white, I also love using kraft on kraft. The new chevron placemat is fabulous and really handy when I don't feel like using my Cameo. And you are seeing correctly, I handwritten the journaling!!! It rarely happens but since I have erasable pens, Frixion, I feel much more confident journaling directly on my layouts.

Today card with Jillibean Soup

This card was created for Jillibean Soup using Cold Avocado Soup. I decided to use the circle stamps as the main focus on the card. I added pattern paper to the top portion of the card which adds a  punch of color and dimension to the card. The greeting is from the diecuts of the same collection paired with a greeting stamp from Jillibean Soup and alphabeans. This is a quick and simple card to create, perfect for any occasion. I hope you are inspired to create a card today.

Best Day Ever with JillibeanSoup

Happy Friday folks, I'm back today to share a card created for Jillibean Soup using the new Avocado Soup collection. I paired the paper with the new flashcard and diecuts pieces. This card is fast and easy to create, once the blocks of papers were adhered to the white cardstock, all I did was layer the flashcard and label stickers from the same collection. I really like how it turned out and I can't wait to give it to someone special.

It's a new month and with that means a new gallery at Write. Click. Scrapbook! Our theme this month is "A Day In The Life", I decided to focus on a moment that I truly love and cherish. 

I used one of my favorite collection released at this past CHA, Hello Again by Carta Bella, love the soft colour palette and the AC tag was perfect with this collection. My past days of cross stitching were handy when I stitched the heart on the tag, I just did a simple x stitch, love this AC tag. 

I also used the newest embellishment kit by Freckled Fawn, I love the exclusive embellishments. I'm sucker for embellishments, so this kit is perfect for me.
