Tech Savvy

Today I'm sharing a layout created for Jillibean Soup, I used
the Spotted Owl Soup collection, I wanted to showcase the versatility
of this line, although this is technically a birthday line, the papers
are so well designed that they can be used for non-birthday layouts!
Brianna loves to play with my iPod and she is very good at it,
of course I had to capture this on a layout!

Thank you Card

Here is my latest card created for Jillibean Soup.
I love the little pennants which I found on a Slice cartridge,
what a great find! Love the look of kraft on kraft, if I
would listen to myself I would be doing that all the time!

Thought I'd do a quick post to share a layout that was recently
published with Scrapbook Trends magazine. It's one of those layouts
that I wasn't over the moon happy with it but then got totally fab
comments and was picked up for publication, go figure!!!
I do love those pictures, they make my heart melt! Looking
back at these, Brianna looks so tiny and has short hair, she
has grown soooo much this past year, sighhh! She's no longer a
baby and she makes sure to remind me whenever she can!!

Spring in NY!

Here's my most recent layout for Jillibean Soup!
Finally scrapped some pictures from my trip to NY!
Love the Blossom Soup collection, I used my
Slice machine to cut out the butterflies, my goal was
too embossed them but I totally forgot and only
remembered when it was too late. Ooooops!

Rain or Shine

Thought I'd share a little something scrappy tonight.
On our last camping trip Brianna had a blast playing with
my umbrealla, who needs toys!? This adorable collection
by Crate Paper was perfect for these pics.

My Garden

I don't usually post about non scrappy things going on in my life, but
I had to post about my flower garden as it is where I am spending most
of time these past months, summer is toooooo short, so this year I
decided to make our front porch and patio into a flower oasis. Of course,
a couple of cute lawn ornaments made their way into to my garden,
my fave one is below, the girls named him Gnomeo, of course after the movie
which has been constantly playing in our house. So instead of scrapping,
I'm working on my garden, which explains the lack of layouts of my blog! ;)

Cards Monday

Here are some recent cards created for Jillibean Soup using 2 of the newestcollections.
On this card, I decided to use my Slice machine to cut through the
journaling card to have a butterfly accent, which I then stitched,
I love the outcome!

When I saw this collection I knew I had to cut out the clothes,
voila! A fun summer card, or better yet...
a perfect card for honeymooners!

Catching up...

Things have been busy here these past couple weeks, plus we've
been enjoying the wonderful weather and I've been working in my
flower garden, which is doing so well this year. Needless to say,
that my poor blog was neglected. Thought I'd catch up on some things...

This layout was published with Scrapbook Trends, I created it using
a Studio Calico kit, for the recorsd, I'm still not tired of the banners. ;)

Glitter & Sparkles

Thought I'd share a recent layout I created using a
Studio Calico kit and Elle's Studio new releases! This layout also
features lots of Crate Paper.

Danika loves to play with make up, so as a treat on
Christmas day I did her make up, which involved lots of spakles.
She was pretty darn cute!!!!
