Just Because

Have you seen Pebbles latest collection, With Love? It's beautiful!!!
I received the line a couple of weeks ago and couldn't wait to
play with it, had some free time in between assignments so I created
this card. I love love love the heart clips, so perfect as a banner.
The colors and patterns are gorgeous and the coordinating
embelishment are simply divine, seriously, aren't those Mini
Clothes Pins simply the best?! Hope you have a fabulous crafty day!

Shy Girl

This layout was up on the Jillibean Soup blog yesterday.
I took these pictures of Brianna earlier this summer.
We've had our challenges lately with Bri and separation anxiety,
especially when I would drop her off at pre-school.
She's slowly getting better and adjusting to her new surroundings,
I just love her sweet and sensitive personality.
She reminds me so much of me...

Good Witch? Bad Witch?

I was up on the Pebbles blog yesterday sharing a layout for the
Mix and Match assignment, this is my creation. I loved mixing various
lines, love the color combo, can't go wrong with a splash of yellow!
Like I said yesterday, I'm all about using negative space, which
I've done again, oooops! ;) Happy Mixing!

Love Makes a House....

a home! Here's a quick little fun card I created. You might
have noticed that I love using the negative part of a die cut,
this is exactly what I did with this card, using a heart
shaped die, I created a negative part which is the main focus
of my card. I love the stick pin with the punched out hearts,
hope you do as well!! Happy Monday!

Enjoy The Season

I'm back again today with another Christmas card. It features
multiple techniques, dry embossing for the background
cardstock, Slice machine for the ornaments, embossing on the
ornaments, Studio Calico mist on the ornament and my
trusty sewing machine. Even if this card has many components,
it came together very quickly, that's what I love about making
cards, instant gratification! Happy card making!

Welcome *Fall Wreath*

Fall is here in full force. The trees are changing colors, beautiful
warm shades of red, orange and yellows. The temperature is
cooler, the pumpkins are out, I love this time of the year. To
celebrate this beautiful season, the Pebbles DT was asked to create
Fall inspired projects, I created the wreath below, which is
now displayed on my front door. I used a wood base, which I
wrapped in twine, then using my Slice machine, I cut out
various types of leaves. My favorite item on this projects is the
little pumpkins, so easy to do and totally cute! I hope this
inspires you to create your own Fall wreath. Happy crafting.

Ready*Set*Go

Christmas is just around the corner...yes, yes, I know, it's still
early but I've already decided to start doing some Christmas cards.
I'm always waiting at the last minute and rushing to get everything
done, so this year, I'm getting a head start! :)

This card has a more "manly" feel to it, I love the brown, green
and kraft color combo. I used a Hero Arts stamp set, along
with some Stampin Up ink on the tag. The tree is made out of
the Toy Box collection by Crate Paper. Hope this inspires you
to create some Christmas cards! Happy crafting.

Handmade with Love

Happy Friday! Hope you have a fabulous weekend ahead of you.
Today I am sharing a layout created for Jillibean Soup.
This past summer I did my very first sewing project, a library
book bag for Danika, it was a fun experience and Danika
loves her bag. This collection was perfect for this themed
layout, you might noticed the Maya Road bobbins that I
added, I think those add a nice touch to my layout.

Xo card Jillibean Soup

Happy thanksgiving long weekend to all my Canadian friends,
we had a fabulous long weekend, it was the best way to spend time
with my lovely family!

I'm sharing today a card created for Jillibean Soup, I'm using the
Fiskars postage stamp, what a fun accent, loved using it on this cards!
I'm also using one of my all time favorite Jillibean Soup collection
Sweet and Sour soup, I can't get enough of this grey paper!

You & Me

I've been meaning to share this layout for a little while now,
I do really love it because of the theme of the layout, but I'm still
unsure about the design. It's not my usual layering type of design,
it felt great to try something different, I guess I just have to
get used to it. I used a Studio Calico kit to create this layout.

Miss You Card

Sharing a Jillibean Soup card with you tonight. I added a little
Maya Road envelop, I love these and they coordinated so well with
this Jillibean Soup collection. Of course I added some Mister Huey
for good measure! A project without mist is just not complete,
at least for me! Thanks for the visit!
