Bubbles

For the longest time Danika would try to make bubbles with her chewing gum. She finally got the hang of it over the Christmas Holidays. She was soooo very proud of herself, of course this moment was picture worthy!!! ;) I tried to use lots of circles on this lo to mimic the bubble she created. Doesn't she look older in this picture with her earphones and bubble gum, I feel so old!!! She is growing up so quickly, attitude and all! I love it all and I just want to freeze time so I can enjoy her and Brianna even more. Sigh!!!

Thursday Night TV...

is back!!! YAY!!! I love Thursday nights, I sit at my work table scrap while watching my fave shows! This has been a ritual of mine for at least a couple of years and I really enjoy it!

So we have fabulous news to share, Dan has found a job! YAY! He's starting on Monday. He wasn't even unemployed for a day and he had 3 job offers! I really thank my lucky star, he's going to a fabulous place, he's going to be happy there. So good news this week. :)

I have some scrappy stuff to share. I created this lo using Scrapping Bella stamps and Jillibean Soup papers. It felt soooo good to scrap with Jillibean Soup papers, I had to put them aside for the past couple of months so I could meet some DT deadlines but the pizza box came out(yes that's how much Jillibean Soup products I have) and I played!!! Em from Scrapping Bella sent me these fabulous stamps to use, the stamps are sooo versatile. I stamped the image on white cardstock and used Maya Road mist to change the color to match my lo. :)

I also created these 2 cards this week, again I used Jillibean Soup papers. :) I wanted to see if my sewing machine was sturdy enough to use with chipboard and low and behold, IT IS!!! yay for me! :)

Off to watch Grey's! Happy Thursday night TV! :P

Pride & Love

Happy Monday everyone! Thank you to all of you that left a comment about Dan and his job situation. The weekend gave us time to clear our minds and determine what should be done. Hopefully I'll have more news very soon.

On the scrappy side of my weekend, I completed my first lo for Scrapping Bella. I used the "10 things I love about you" stamp. It is such a fabulous journaling stamp. I used the stamp as part of my journaling. I also used papers by Jillibean Soup, Minestrone collection, Cup of Yak kraft paper and Grandmas Christmas Soup. Can't go wrong using Jillibean Soup products, they are so fabulous and versatile. I also used some Maya Road Mist, I love this stuff! Quite addictive! :P

Oh my, it has been a while since I've last updated my blog, hasn't?! My apologies friends!! This week life has been busy to say the least!

First off, happy scrappy talk....

This the latest lo I've created using the Bella Blvd line, isn't the most fabulous camping line ever!!!??? I love this picture of the family, it was our first time camping this past summer, using our brand new camper and the site was fabulous, hence the title of the layout. I really miss camping (I honestly didn't think I would love it so much - it would be even better if I could have access to the internet!) and every week Dan and I talk about it. We are already planning our summer camping trips! YAY!!!

CHA is right around the corner, I love this time of the year!!! It's the best! One of my favorite company has released some previews of their new collections, check out the new Jillibean Soup papers!!! It is sooooooooooo fabulous!

Now onto the not so fun news, Dan lost his job yesterday. Seems that the economy is still hitting hard some people and we've had to suffer too. But we are trying to remain positive, things happen for a reason, when one door closes another opens up. We have wonderful friends and family that are their to support us and I know that things will be ok!!! It's just hard after being at the same company for 9 years to be let go!

January Kit for LIITD - Cloud 9

I'm on Cloud 9!!!!!

I've held on to this picture of Brianna for a very long time. I loved to kiss that tiny spot under her chunky cheeks, now that she moves around alot I don't the chance to snuggle up as much, I sure miss that sweet spot!
I had to try out my new SU stamps, I love this set, the sayings are fabulous!!!
