'Tis The Season

I love the look of kraft based cards!!! Especially with this fabulous
line by Jillibean Soup. I used my Slice machine to cut out the
snowflakes, of course added one of my favorite Jillibean Soup
element, a Soup Label and I made a quick and easy Christmas card.
Hope you had a chance to make some cards this Holiday Season.

Christmas Album

This year I decided to do my own version of a December Daily album.
I don't have enough time to do a daily version, so I'm just doing a Christmas
album which highlights events and moments of the Holiday Season.
I'm already behind but hopefully I will get caught up quickly, I just
might even ask Danika to help out with, I just know that she will love it.
More pictures are available on the Pebbles blog.

I love these pictures of the girls!!! Totally warms my heart to see them
walking hand in hand. This layout was created for Jillibean Soup using the
6x6 paper pads. Lots of my favorite products on here, I can't get enough
of these clouds, and yep, I did another 8.5x11 layout! :)

At last...

This past November Dan and I traveled to New York city for a
much derserved romantic weekend away. We had a fabulous time,
loved exploring the city, enjoying quiet meals and just spending
time together. This picture was taken at Rockerfeller Plaza, such
a beautiful and romantic place to visit right in the heart of NY.
I created this layout for Jillibean Soup, I have a serious crush on
the Sweet and Sour collection.

The Jillibean Soup DT was asked to participate in Becky Fleck's December
Pagemaps sketches. How fun is this?! I love Becky's sketches, they are
the best in the industry! Of course I jumped on the opportunity. I was assigned
a 12x12 layout, perfect for some recent pictures of the girls! Make sure to
check out the rest of the sketches by visiting Becky's website: PageMaps.

Gifts

This past summer Brianna would always bring me little gifts from
daycare, she would always have a flower, a twig, a rock for me. She
was always so excited to give me my gift, of course I had to scrap
about this. I create this layout for Jillibean Soup, I used lots of
kraft papers and also some of the new corrugated sheets! Yep, I did
another 8.5 x 11 layout, I think this will be a new standard for me. :)

Library Love

Danika loves to read!!! She wants to get new books all the time,
I just can't keep up, so this past summer we visited our public
library. Danika was amazed by all the books available to her. She
was even more impressed to get her very own library card.
Needless to say that this is now a regular activity to walk down
to the library and search for new stories to discover.

Girls Weekend

Whenever DH goes away for a weekend, I make sure to have lots of fun
activities planned for the girls. They love our very own girls weekend, we
spend lots of time in PJs, eating popcorn and watching movies. We go
out to feed the ducks, for cupcakes, to the parc, etc... We really do have
a lovely time together, as they grow older I do hope they will continue
to want to have girls weekend with me. This layout was created
for Jillibean Soup, it was a nice reminder of this past summer.

Hungry Ducks

It's been a quiet week on my blog, I'm still catching up from my weekend away
to NYC with Dan. We had a fabulous time, enjoyed some wonderful meals,
good drinks and quiet time! Sigh!!! We were long overdue. Central Park in
the Fall is stunning!!! I'm sure I'll be scrapping one layout or two about this trip.

In the meantime I'm sharing this layout created for Pebbles. My assignment
was to used the sketch, which is posted on the Pebbles blog. I used lots
and lots of Fresh Goods collection, this layout is a nice reminder of this
past summer and spending time with my girls.

Make sure to check out the blog for more inspiration.

Be *card*

Here's a little fun card I created using only washi tape,
I also have to credit an image
I saw on Pinterest for the inspiration to create this card.

From Pinterest....

I thought it was a very clever way to use up all the
washi tape I've been hoarding!!!

Just Because

Have you seen Pebbles latest collection, With Love? It's beautiful!!!
I received the line a couple of weeks ago and couldn't wait to
play with it, had some free time in between assignments so I created
this card. I love love love the heart clips, so perfect as a banner.
The colors and patterns are gorgeous and the coordinating
embelishment are simply divine, seriously, aren't those Mini

Shy Girl

This layout was up on the Jillibean Soup blog yesterday.
I took these pictures of Brianna earlier this summer.
We've had our challenges lately with Bri and separation anxiety,
especially when I would drop her off at pre-school.
She's slowly getting better and adjusting to her new surroundings,
I just love her sweet and sensitive personality.
She reminds me so much of me...

Good Witch? Bad Witch?

I was up on the Pebbles blog yesterday sharing a layout for the
Mix and Match assignment, this is my creation. I loved mixing various
lines, love the color combo, can't go wrong with a splash of yellow!
Like I said yesterday, I'm all about using negative space, which
I've done again, oooops! ;) Happy Mixing!

Love Makes a House....

a home! Here's a quick little fun card I created. You might
have noticed that I love using the negative part of a die cut,
this is exactly what I did with this card, using a heart
shaped die, I created a negative part which is the main focus
of my card. I love the stick pin with the punched out hearts,
hope you do as well!! Happy Monday!

Enjoy The Season

I'm back again today with another Christmas card. It features
multiple techniques, dry embossing for the background
cardstock, Slice machine for the ornaments, embossing on the
ornaments, Studio Calico mist on the ornament and my
trusty sewing machine. Even if this card has many components,
it came together very quickly, that's what I love about making
cards, instant gratification! Happy card making!

Welcome *Fall Wreath*

Fall is here in full force. The trees are changing colors, beautiful
warm shades of red, orange and yellows. The temperature is
cooler, the pumpkins are out, I love this time of the year. To
celebrate this beautiful season, the Pebbles DT was asked to create
Fall inspired projects, I created the wreath below, which is
now displayed on my front door. I used a wood base, which I
wrapped in twine, then using my Slice machine, I cut out
various types of leaves. My favorite item on this projects is the
little pumpkins, so easy to do and totally cute! I hope this
inspires you to create your own Fall wreath. Happy crafting.

Ready*Set*Go

Christmas is just around the corner...yes, yes, I know, it's still
early but I've already decided to start doing some Christmas cards.
I'm always waiting at the last minute and rushing to get everything
done, so this year, I'm getting a head start! :)

This card has a more "manly" feel to it, I love the brown, green
and kraft color combo. I used a Hero Arts stamp set, along
with some Stampin Up ink on the tag. The tree is made out of
the Toy Box collection by Crate Paper. Hope this inspires you
to create some Christmas cards! Happy crafting.

Handmade with Love

Happy Friday! Hope you have a fabulous weekend ahead of you.
Today I am sharing a layout created for Jillibean Soup.
This past summer I did my very first sewing project, a library
book bag for Danika, it was a fun experience and Danika
loves her bag. This collection was perfect for this themed
layout, you might noticed the Maya Road bobbins that I
added, I think those add a nice touch to my layout.

Xo card Jillibean Soup

Happy thanksgiving long weekend to all my Canadian friends,
we had a fabulous long weekend, it was the best way to spend time
with my lovely family!

I'm sharing today a card created for Jillibean Soup, I'm using the
Fiskars postage stamp, what a fun accent, loved using it on this cards!
I'm also using one of my all time favorite Jillibean Soup collection
Sweet and Sour soup, I can't get enough of this grey paper!

You & Me

I've been meaning to share this layout for a little while now,
I do really love it because of the theme of the layout, but I'm still
unsure about the design. It's not my usual layering type of design,
it felt great to try something different, I guess I just have to
get used to it. I used a Studio Calico kit to create this layout.

Sharing a Jillibean Soup card with you tonight. I added a little
Maya Road envelop, I love these and they coordinated so well with
this Jillibean Soup collection. Of course I added some Mister Huey

at least for me! Thanks for the visit!

One of Danika's main fashion staple this summer was a skirt and
t-shirt, she is such a girly girl, she does look totally cute!
I created this layout for Jillibean Soup and I used the Homemade
6 Beans Soup, I love the color palette of this collection. I loved creating
this layout, the button card was soooo perfect for this page.
I love it when things just come together so well. Hope you have
scrappy plans this weekend! Happy friday friends!

Epic

A couple of weeks ago Pearl Jam was in town, we are HUGE
Pearl Jam fans, we've traveled to see them in concert, it
was great to finally be able to see them in our home town.
I also scored major points with DH when I got him tickets
as a Father's Day present. :) We had side seats, which were
much better than sitting way up in the nosebleed section,
I even got to see the lead singer before the show, of course
Dan was gone to get refreshements. So I did manage to
get some pictures with my cell, funny how they made their
way onto a layout! ;) It's been a while since I've done a
8.5 x 11 layout, I loved it! I also used a Studio Calico kit to
create this layout, love the more boyish colors, it's a nice
change from the pinks i usually use. Needless to say
this was an Epic evening!!!

Yep, my baby girl is now 3! She is such a lovely sweet sweet girl.
She loves her sister and thinks that Danika's toys are the
best, needless to say that Danika has a constant companion, even
if she doesn't want one! I used up a Studio Calico kit for this layout,
I used lots of techniques, stamping, stitching, misting, embossing,
I had lots of fun!!!! Happy birthday to my baby!!!

What I Love

Last friday was a pretty exciting day for me, it was my first
feature on the Pebbles blog as DT member. I decided to do a layout
about some of my fave things. I used the new Fresh Goods collection,
I did cut out the banners, it was a bit time consuming but so
worth it, love the end result. Make sure to stop by the Pebbles
blog to see the projects of my fellow DT members.
I hope your week is off to a good start.

I love to hear the sounds of little feet running down the hallway,
anxiously waiting for me to get in the house, Brianna loves to greet
me this way, I just love this time of day! The new Sweet and Sour
collection by Jillibean Soup was so perfect for this layout, i love the color
combo, especially with the grey paper! Thanks for the visit!!!

Hometown Exploring

I am so relieved that this week is almost over, the 2nd week of back
to school, pre-school and work has been tough to say the least.
Today I am sharing a layout I created with a Studio Calico kit.
I have a serious crush on the Studio C chipboard letters, I love them!
I used lots of Mister Huey and some stamping on this layout,
this was a fun fun fun layout to create! :)

Jillibean Soup corrugated hearts, stickers and pod parts.
I am seriously lovin the new releases, but I do say that every
time Jillibean Soup releases a new collection, what can I say,
I'm a die hard fan! I'm also seriously diggin' the white background

Cross Promotion

Today I'm sharing a layout that was created for a cross promotion

between Jillibean Soup and Maya Road. I'm a huge MR fan, so I was

thrilled to learn we had the opportunity to participate in this event.

I had fun using my embossing heatgun and powder, it has been a while

since I've done that, love the end result! More people have been

leaving comments latetly and I just wanted to say thank you!!!

It's great to hear from you and know who is reading my blog.

Be Still My Heart

I think this layout pretty much says it all... I love Macy's.

You see we don't have Macy's here in Canada, so when I went

to NY I had the chance to shop at Macy's and I am hooked!

Now I can't wait to go back to NY and spend more time in Macy's.

I used an older Studio Calico kit, I love love love these papers,

I also love the contrast of the red against the more muted colors.

Thanks for the visit!

Lovely Girl *Pebbles*

How I enjoy being on holidays! I still get up early with the girls,

but we don't have to rush, I have time to enjoy a coffee while surfing

the web, I really enjoy this time of the day, when everyone is

still sleepy and quiet. Ahhhhh, quiet.....

Here is a another project created for Pebbles as guest DT.

I have to say that my love for Pebbles started with the yellow

paper with the clouds - here I cut out the clouds. This

paper was included in a old Studio Calico kit and as

soon as I got it, I knew I was going to use ever tiny pieces

of paper of this line, it's exactly what I've done. I think I have

one or two clouds left and I'm keeping them for something

special, so this is how my love for Pebbles started. :)

Pebbles Cards

Today I would like to share some cards I created as guest designer for Pebbles.
I totally love the little flower buttons and I knew they would be
perfect a for card. For the second card, I just can't get enough of the
Pebbles flags, of course I had to find a way to use one on a card, I can
guarantee that these will find their way on a lot of my projects.

Just a reminder that the draw is still open until Friday, I will post a
picture of the prize pack later this week, to be eligible all
you have to do is leave a comment in the post below. Thanks for
stopping by and leaving such sweet comments!!!
