Best Buds

I created this layout for Jillibean Soup.
It went on the blog today.
I love the mix of yellow and green with a
splash of red. Danika is very attached
to our dog, he's been around since
before she was born so they have
a great bond.

I also used Cooredination Jillibean Soup
cardstock, I love this stuff!!!
Thanks for the visit and all the lovely
comments on yesterday's post!

Cards Monday

Happy Monday folks!!! Don't get me wrong,
I'm totally bummed that the weekend is over
but what can we do about it? Such is life
and work is calling me. I hope you all had
a fabulous weekend, mine was busy but
I was able to do lots of scrapping, yay for me!!!

Here are 2 cards that I created this weekend.

I used lots of Crate Paper goodness on this card,
those ladies where perfect for the "darling"
theme of the card, they are from October Afternoon
Thrift Shop collection.

More Crate Paper goodness on this card - even the clouds!
I used a doily on this card. Doilies are addictive, just like
yellow stickers, sewing and border punches. So you are
warned, you will see more of these items on my projects.
LOL!!!! Oh yeah, clouds! Add those to my fave list.

Thanks for the visit friends!!! Hope you all
have a marvelous week!!!

Pretty Feet

This layout was posted yesterday on the

Jillibean Soup blog. Danika loves to dance,

she will break out in a dance whenever

she can and especially when we are at a

clothing store and full lenght mirrors are

nearby. It is very adorable to see her

pratice her dance moves in the middle

of a store. She's been taking ballet

for 2 years in a row and we've heard

the importance of pretty pointy feet or toes

many many times!!!

The Jillibean Soup DT also had the priviliedge of working

with Helmar products. I used the liquid adhesive of the ribbon

and the crafting beads, what a wonderful product! Thanks Helmar!

Hope you all have a fabulous

weekend celebrating the Father and/or Husband in

your life. I know we have some things

planned for Dan!!! His girls are going

to spoil him rotten! He is such a good dad

and fabulous husband, he deserves

the best from his girls and I!

Yum Yum

These pictures have been sitting on my desk for
a very long time. Not sure why I was struggling
so much with them, maybe the color combo but
I'm glad I finally scrapped them.

I used Studio Calico's May kit to create this lo. The only
extra item is the Sass felties that I had bought specifically
for these pictures. I have to say that I love the mix of
papers and products that are found in the Studio C kits,
soooo much fun!

I also used lots of Maya Mist, which I love!!! To create the frame
I simply cut out the shape from a piece of cardstock, placed
it on my layout and misted my paper. Voila. Such a fun effect!!!

Hope everyone has a great day! I'm off to Danika's school trip!!!

It's been too long...

since my last post
but I have good reasons why...

She had her ballet recital today!
She's an amazing dancer,
I am so proud of her.
Lots of running around for rehearsals,
pictures, etc...
School year is approaching,
she's ready for a break and summer camp.
Has sometime at little attitude that comes along with
stomping feet and a pout...the joys....
Loves her sister to pieces...my heart melts....
Is writing and reading like a pro..I am yet again amazed.
I love her to pieces.

She's SUCH a busy body!
Running after a 22 month old is tiring...
I had forgotten
Talks, talks and talks some more.
Doesn't play with her baby toys, she prefers
her sister's Barbies and Pet Shops.
Eat, eats and eats some more.
Loves to kiss and hug...I take advantage.
LOVES Caillou!
Loves to help around the house...
I'm sure that will be different at 15!
Is such a ray of sunshine!!!
I love her to pieces.

They keep my busy!
I am loving every single minute of it!
Wish I had more hours in a day.
My scrappy time has gone wayyyyyy down...
and I'm ok with that.
Finding more time for Dan and I...
that's wonderful!
I love them to pieces!

So my apologies for being away but
I have some scrappy projects
coming up...
so stay tuned.....
