Thank You

Good morning friends! Today I'm sharing a fun and easy
card that I created for Jillibean Soup.
I love finding new and fun ways to use a product,
that's exactly what I've done here.
(at least I think it's fun and new!)

I used the banner bites to create this card, but instead of using the
full banner I trimmed the edge. Afterwards I added some stitching
and small embelishments to almost each of the banners.

I hope I've inspired you to try to see your products in a new way.

Be Awesome

I'm posting first thing in the morning, whoa!!!
Things are usually so hectic in the day that I never
get to the computer until late a night but today
I decided that everything could wait...I'm blogging!!!

Popping in to share this layout I created.
As you can see I've used yet again the woodgrain
chevron paper from the Amy Tan collection, love
this paper! I'm totally hoarding every little bit!
This layout just makes me happy, maybe because that it
came together super quickly or because of the
awesome pics of Brianna.

I decided to share a bit on my design process;
I decided to use one part of the chevron paper and add
stitching. Then the layers were created, this process
usually is never done until the end, as I'm always
adding as I go. I wanted to add more of the woodgrain,
to tie it all together, so I added a bit at the bottom.
I've also cut lots of these quotes titles, they are
very handy, this one was perfect for the theme of this
layout. Then came the embelishments, I just piled
them on until I felt it was finished.
Hope you enjoyed learning about my process
for making a layout.

Hello Friend

A quick post tonight to share this card that I
created for Jillibean Soup.

I love using triangles on my projects and wanted to
create a card which featured various triangles.
I think what balances it all are the velum
triangles, it just brings it all together.

Just Being Me

I rarelly create a layout about me, between
all 3 girls I have plenty of inspiration that I feel
it's not necessary to scrap about little ol'me.
However I have realized that my girls would probably
like to know things about me, so I'm making an effort
to scrap about me. Can't promise it will happen often
but I will try....

I created this layout for Jillibean Soup.
Love how the Soup Staple chevron paper can be
cut up and used to create chevron arrows.
Love those!
I also have a thing for those large titles that I've
been cutting with my silhouette, kinda helps
out with figure out a title. Ha!

Love This

You know that moment, when you see your kids getting
along, being nice to each other, you can actually
feel your heart swell up with love and pride, well that's how
I felt when I saw the girls together. They love to fight with
each other but they also love each other so much, I'm
so happy they have each other, and their little sister!

Along with the picture, the inspiration for this layout
was the arrow type woodgrain paper, love love love
that print!! Paired with the patterned backgrounds, love
how the prints and colors compliment each other.

Love Them

Hello peeps! Today or I should say tonight, I'm sharing a
layout that I created for Jillibean Soup using one of my
favorite collection, Macho Nacho Soup. I just
can't get enough of this collection, but seeing the new
releases I think that I've some new favorites. In case you
haven't seen the collections make sure to stop by the
Jillibean Soup blog, there's always a chance to win the
new releases and get them in your hands before everyone else.

I used a background cut file from the Silhouette store
and added bits of papers, stickers and diecuts to
make it stand out. I just love this collection, so perfect
for any type of pictures. Thanks for the visit and
as always the kind words, they really cheer me up.

First Photo Op - Laina Lamb Designs

A little while back my friend Laina asked me to play with some
stamps and dies she designed and are available

I just love everything Laina does (she designs for Jillibean Soup)
of course I was thrilled to play with her awesome
products. I used the Calendar Basics and Days & Dates
stamps set, they are fabulous and so versatile. They would
also be perfect for Project Life!!!

I also played with Laina's fabulous dies, love love love
the negative style of these dies, these are a great addition to
any layout but also any Project Life spread.

I layered the die using washi tape, love how the
red and white just make it all stand out.

Love how easy to use the dies were, I trimmed down
the number series to reflect Alexia's age.

So hope on over to My Favorite Things to check out
Laina's full collection! It's fabulous!!!
