Part 2 of my American Crafts projects

Welcome back to day 2 of my projects for American Crafts!
I will share my last 2 layouts and one altered project.

My inspiration for this layout was the accordeon flowers,
I just love them! Decided to keep the circle theme going by adding
lots of confettis and circle embelishments.

To add fun and dimension to the layout I also added
some negative shapes. Of course the yellow glitter
Thickers were PERFECT for this lo!!!

For my altered project my inspiration was a quote
I found on Pintrest. I thought it would make a perfect
teacher's gift, one could even add multiple quote and
interchange them. The pinwheels from the Shoreline
are just as stunning as the accordeon flowers.

Last but not least my final layout.
The chevron pattern paper was perfect
to cut out and use as arrows. I decided to cut
out the rectangle from another sheet of paper
and stitch them on the background paper.

Again, it has been a BLAST designing for
American Crafts, I was so happy to be offered
this amazing opportunity!!!

Guest DT for American Crafts

Imagine my excitement when I received an email from
American Crafts inviting to me to be guest designer!
I had to read it a couple of time to make sure I wasn't
mistaken. LOL!! It didn't take me long to say yes, afterall
I've been using and admiring their products since I started
scrapbooking some 7 years ago. I was asked to work
with the new Shoreline collection, what a stunning collection,
loved the bright and fun colors and patterns, so
perfect for summer projects.

To see the full reveal you can check out the AC blog,
I'll be sharing the work over the next couple of days
on my blog. If you are hoping over to the AC blog,
make sure to leave a comment, I would
really appreciate it! :)

My first project is a summer themed card,
I created a polaroid frame to showcase
the chipboard die cuts.

Aren't those die cuts the best?!
Love how this turned out.

This is one of the three layouts I created.
Used lots of layers and embelishements for this one.

This layout features the die cut shapes,
the accordeon flowers and the new thickers.
Love how fun this layout turned out to be!!

I'll be back tomorrow with the rest of my projects.
Thank you again to American Crafts for
this amazing opportunity!!!!

Remember

For the month of June, the Jillibean Soup DT
was challenged by Jill, to create a project which would
feature some type of flag. Of course flags, banners
and pennats are such a huge trend right now and I had a
blast creating my lo for this challenge.

I took a different approach to the flags and
created banners using half circles. I used
various circles punches, then folded in half the circles
over Jillibean Soup twine, to hold everything in place
I added a bit of stitching.

I also used wodden sticks to created floating
flags, thought it was an interesting element to my lo.

Make sure to visit the Jillibean Soup blog
to see what the rest of the DT has created.

Just remember

Sometimes it's just little sayings that we repeat over
and over that can make the most impact on someone's life.
When I saw the new Sunnyside Collection by Pebbles
I immediatly loved the From Me to You sheet of paper.
It is full of wonderful little quotes, I thought they would
be perfect to incoporate on layout of Danika.

I cut up the quotes or sayings, and added sewing
for details, then I layered them on my layout
using foam dots. Also used the new corrugate white
letters, I love of the look of white on white, it's
very crisp and clean.

Make sure to visit the Pebbles blog for a giveaway
of this collection, you have until the end of day Monday
to leave a comment and be eligible for the draw.
Good luck to all the enter the draw!!!

Mini Me

Well hello there! Glad you took a moment
out of your busy day to visit my little old blog.

Today I'm sharing a lo I created using some
Crate Paper that I've been hoarding.
I really need to stop hoarding paper because
it accumulates so quickly, it's a shame to
see it go to waste or chopped up by the
girls, because that's what I do with my unloved
papers, I pass them on to the girls, they love it.

To create this lo I also used some Maya Road
chipboard frames that I had leftover from
a previous kit. I have a thing lately to using
plain or raw chipboard on my projects, I just love
the look of it. Of course, I added some yellow for
good measure and a bit of washi tape (another
recent addiction). That's me with Bri, she is
so much like me, reserved, quiet, shy, but funny
once she warms up to people, crafty and curious.
Of course, she's a much much cuter version of me.

Monday Cards with Pebbles!

Hello fellow scrappers!
Today for my Monday blog post I thought
I'd share my latest project for Pebbles. I have
to say that I love how easily these cards came
together, I used the new Hip Hip Hooray
collection, it is so much fun!!!

I mostly used the same papers for both
cards but changed the design slighty.
Love the tiny clothes pins from the same
collection, so perfect for holding twine
or another small embellishment.

Hope these cards inspire you to make
your own! Happy Monday
and happy crafting my friends.

Button challenge & Jillibean Soup

Wow, just wow!
Thank you for all the love that
has been left on this blog these
past couple of days! You sure know
how to make a pregnant mama feel special! :)

Today I'm sharing a little card that I
created for Jillibean Soup. This past month
Jill, aka the Big Bean, has challenged the
DT to use buttons on our projects.
I created this card, love the big
yellow button that mimics the sun.
Some Mister Huey for the rain drops,
a Fiskars punch for the clouds, voila
a fun card that would be perfect for
anyone who needs a pick me up.

Make sure to visit the Jillibean Soup
blog to see what the DT has been up to!

& this is Love

How do you start a layout?
Are you inspired by the pictures, the papers,
a design element? For me it varies, it can
be either one of those things, for this layout
it was a design element, the negative cardstock
with the punched out circles. Once that
was done my layout came together rather quickly.
I love how the creative process can vary from
day to day or project to project.

This layout was created for Jillibean Soup.
Used lots of punches, my Slice for the "&", stitching
and a bit of washi tape. I love washi tape!!!

I just love this picture of Dan and Brianna.
They are so adorable together, she's got him wrapped
around her little finger and he caters to her every
demand, but he does that for Danika and myself too.
We are lucky lucky girls!!!

I used Jillibean Soup's Sweet and Sour Collection
for this layout. I also used the newest Alphabeans stickers
in Yam Yellow, love those!!!

I also wanted to say hi to my new followers.
I noticed that some people have signed up recently,
thank you! I like to see the number of followers
go up, so thank you for making my day and
following my blog. :)

My Creative Scrapbook Part 2

Hello everyone! I'm back today with the rest of my projects
for MCS. First up 2 quick cards that I put together
using the chipboard elements.

I also created this layout of Brianna, the bright, fun and
summery patterns were perfect for this adorable
picture of my baby girl!

For this layout I peeled off the top portion of the chipboard
Thickers and embossed with yellow embossing powder.

Thanks again to Pam, Delaina and the wonderful DT at
MSC for the warm welcome and this fun opportunity,
it's been a fabulous experience!

My Creative Scrapbook June GDT

A whole week without blogging, poor neglected blog. LOL!
Today I'm sharing projects I created for MCS, after last month
GDT I was invited to stay on a for another month, how awesome
is this?! I was so excited, thank you again Pam!
This month I got to work with the beautiful Creative Kit
full of new MME products, - check it out HERE.

Today I will be sharing 2 of my projects, the rest will be up
tomorrow, hope you like. :)

I love this background paper, the soft teal with the white
pattern was perfect!!!

The chipboard embelishments with this line is fabulous!
Love the yellow colors in this collection, and
of course there are lots of banners, love that!!!

I had fun adding some hexagons to this layout!
It such a fun and trendy shape to use right now.

I decided to keep the chipboard a natural color,
I thought that worked out well with the bright hues of the paper.

I'll be back tomorrow with more.
