I'm slowing making my way through older Studio Calico kits, this is a lo I created recently with one of those older kits. Used mostly MME papers, loved the teal color combo with orange tones. I thought it would be nice to document Danika's challenges with growing up and taking on more responsibilities. She is a great girl, so kind and attentive, a wonderful big sister. Sometimes she has a hard time following through on chores and things to do, I know she will get there, with lots of patience on our part. ;)

Snuggles
Happy Monday scrappy friends! Today I'm sharing a little layout of my
girls, which I did using up an older Studio Calico kit. I'm slowing using up
my kits and making space in my supplies, which feels great. Used a
mix of products on this page, some Studio Calico stamps and of course
stitching. Since I don't have a Cameo I had to make up my own negative
shape, I think it turned out pretty good. Hope you were able to make
time to get creative this weekend! I was able to tackle some assignment
and I'm currently working on a special assignement which I'll get to
share very soon, stay tuned! (PS sorry for the crooked picture)

Shine
Hello fellow scrappers! Today I am sharing a little layout created
for Pebbles. I used the new collection, Country Picnic, isn't
sublime?! Love the little tags, mix of kraft and pinks, so perfect
in every way.
This week the DT was asked to create a project
which features a favorite thing, I decided to feature my favorite
technique, stitching on a layout. I can not do a layout or a
card without adding a little or alot of stitching. I can honestly
say that my sewing machine has really touched fabric (I think
2 times at the most), it's main purpose is sewing on scrapbooking
projects. On this lo I added a lot of sewing, you can see a
close up below. I even stitched on the "&", that was a challenging
tasks! I do like how it turned out, do you stitch on your los?

Congrats Card *Jillibean Soup*
Yep, I did it. I gave in to another scrappy trend, chevrons! If there
is a new trend out there, you can bet money that I will try it.
I'm like that for everything, home decor, crafting, fashion (except
skinny jeans, that I will not do again, did it in the 80s, that was
enough for me!). I created this card for Jillibean Soup, using
one of the newest collection, Neopolitan Bisque. Love the mix of
funky patterns along with the trendy greys and teals. I think
this makes a very versatile card, perfect for any one. Of course
I had to add some Mister Huey, along with some stitching! ;)

Inspired by Pinterest
Oh yeah, like many of you, I'm addicted to Pinterest.
It is such a fabulous way to share inspiration, to discover
new products and to be inspired. That's exactly how
this layout came about. I saw this quote on
Pinterest and knew it was perfect for a lo. You see I'm
a home body, I love spending time at home with
my girls and Dan, nothing makes me happier than this.
So this quote was only fitting for us. I used lots of new
Jillibean Soup papers and embelishments on here,
mostly from the Coconut Lime Soup collection. Of course,
had to add in a new trend, using triangle, it's a
bit different for me, but I do like the end result. If you
haven't signed up for Pinterest yet, make sure to do so,
and follow me at the same time! Happy pinning! :)

Pebbles How To
Yesterday was my day to have a How To tutorial posted on the Pebbles blog.
I have to admit that I was a little worried about this task, at first I wasn't
sure what I could possibly do but after some research I came up with this little
notebook. You can see all the step by step details on the Pebbles blog, check it
out here Pebbles blog. I also used one of the newest collection by Pebbles,
love the springy feel of this line, it's really stunning! Always
many thanks for visiting and commenting on my work!!!

24/7 Adorable
I realized that I don't have many los of Brianna. I was putting
in her album and realized that I scrapbook alot of pics of her
with her sister but not of Bri by herself. I must change that.
Did this lo based on a sketch at Studio Calico and finally got around
to using the Memoir Collection by SC. Love the colors of this line.
Also used the fabulous gold Thickers, I love these!!! I'm not
a gold thing kinda girl but the Thickers are different! LOL!

Amazed
Here's a little lo I created a while back using a Studio Calico kit.
Now looking at it, I realize the paper is not straight, which is
driving me nuts but not nuts enough to do it over. LOL!!!
Loved using the chevron paper, I can't get enough of that
pattern. The picture is from our family session last October
by the wonderful Christine Tripp from Tripp Photography.
Next time we have a session with Christine, there will be
one more little baby girl! :)

Happy Easter with Jillibean Soup
Have you seen the new Spring/Easter line by Jillibean Soup!?
It's fabulous! Love love love the woodgrain patterns, yellows
and teals! I created this card with the new line for the JbS blog.
I did add a bit of vellum from my stash, so happy to see vellum
come back, if I would have known this would happen I would have
kept the pile of vellum I bought 7 years ago when I started
scrapping! LOL! Hope you have some fun things planned
for this Easter long weekend!!
