Dreaming of Paris

Good evening my scrappy and non-scrappy friends.

Hope your weekend is going well and that you are making
the most of it.

Today I'm sharing this lovey dovey lo I created of Dan and I. We love to travel but we haven't gone anywhere in a while. We always talk about that places we would love to visit and Paris is definitely in our top 10. One day we will visit the City of Love, in the meantime I scrapped about this dream of ours.

I used the fabulous Cupid line by Pink Paislee. I also used the shaped Thickers
by American Crafts. Gosh those thickers are fabulous! I have
a slight addiction to Thickers, I just can't get enough. I'm really
looking forward to the new CHA releases. I also used one of
my favorite scrappy items of the moment, colored pearls by Kaiser.

Being Creative

Hello my internet friends!
I hope you are all doing well on this fine Wednesday evening.
Even though I didn't work on Monday I'm still happy that the week is almost half done.

I have a scrappy project to share tonight.
I created this layout for a challenge on Love Is In The Details.
I used the awesome French Collection by Lily Bee Design.
Aren't these papers fabulous!? Love the colors!!! Love it!!!

These flowers were a bit tricky to do but once I got the hang
of it, I just had a blast making them! Just wish I had more of this orange paper!!!

Little Piggies

This is one of my latest creations.
These toes belong to Brianna, my youngest dd.
This girl can't keep socks on her feet. She's always walking around barefoot.
Of course I don't mind seeing these adorable little toes.
I used some OA - Farm Fresh papers and stickers to create this lo.
I just loooooove this line of pp! I also used
some Sassafras Lass brads and flowers.
My stash of these flowers is slowly getting used
and I am very disappointed, I just love these flowers!

Notice all the stitching on this lo? My sewing machine
now has a permanent very accessible spot
in my scrap area, so look out for much more sewing on my los! ;)

LIITD Feb Kit Reveal - Ticket to Ride

Hello fellow bloggers and friends. I know, I am not as good as I used to be when it comes to updating my blog but alas life happens and priorities take over. But don't worry, I am still scrapping, I'm just not as fast when it comes to sharing my layouts. One of the main reason for this is the lack of daylight during the week, so I can not photograph my los. I leave for work it's still dark and I get home and the prime daylight is gone. I have resorted to taking my pictures in our HR testing room at work. Let's just say that carrying my camera and los to photograph is a bit of pain in the ass. Also my colleagues think it's kind of funny to see me squat by the window ledge to try to get the best shot possible....they just don't get it.... :P

So I'll stop my rambling and share my latest work for Love Is In The Details. These 2 los were created with the February Kit - Ticket to Ride. I just love the colors of this Imaginesce line of paper and the cute camera stamp is just too good to resist!

Game On! - love these pictures of Dan! Isn't he the cutest!? Dan's family was big into hockey, all of the boys played (they are 3 boys). I can just imagine the busy schedules they had to deal with!!! A little tip to make a transparency go a long way, cut it in half. That's what I've done with the star border, I had plenty to use in 3 locations on my lo.

Scuba in Punta Cana - So you might not know this about Dan and I but we love to do scuba diving. This picture was taken by moi on our first ever dive. It was during our Honeymoon in Punta Cana. Since then Dan got his diving certification and has done many dives. I didn't get my certification because the timing wasn't right, I had just gotten pregnant when Dan did his. So I guess I'll just have to stick to the shallow dives for now.....

On The Run...

I know I've been MIA for a little while but

I had to deal with some important matters that required me
to focus my attention elsewhere.

This lo was created a little while back.
I used one of my favorite manufacturer - Lily Bee Design.
I just love the richness and depth of these beautiful papers.

I just love the expressions on Danika's face,
I can still hear her squeal of delights
as Dan was catching up to her. They have so much
fun together these 2, they are 2 peas in a pod,
it's so fabulous to watch.

I'm one lucky girl!!!
